Round 6 La Liga, Barcelona have a trip to Cadiz’s field. This is a great opportunity for Koeman’s team to win points and improve the ranking when the home team is not appreciated. However, they have not been able to find the light at the end of the tunnel since Messi left as they continued to draw with a 0-0 score in a miserable match against the weak team Cadiz.
Barca just experienced a disappointing draw against Cadiz
This draw caused Barca to be pushed down to 7th place with only 9 points, losing 7 points to Real Madrid. If not quickly find a solution from the play to the relationship between Koeman and the board, Barcelona may have the worst season in its epic history.
After a disappointing draw against Cadiz in the 6th round of La Liga, midfielder Gerard Pique had a sad share about Barcelona’s situation at the moment.
“The club has been at the top for many years. We are going through a situation we are not used to. These have been tumultuous years, with changing presidents and changing coaches. We have to do our best together to give the fans peace of mind,” Pique told Movistar.
“Everybody wants to win. There are many ways to solve that problem. We can all complain or we can work. However we are here to fight. Instead of choosing sides, let’s support the president and the coach.”

Pique expressed disappointment with Barca’s current situation
“I didn’t wear the Barcelona shirt to finish second or third. I’m here to compete for titles. Sometimes we have to face moments like this. We feel our fans are behind us but the situation is very complicated for all of us.”
The last Cadiz draw was the third match in a row Barca did not know the smell of victory. In front of a team that is rated much weaker, Barca created even fewer chances than the underdog (6 versus 13). Not to mention midfielder De Jong received 2 yellow cards and had to leave the field. Coach Ronald Koeman will receive a two-match ban for the red card in stoppage time.
